ITM “INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE MACHINERY” EXHIBITION ISTANBUL

ITM 2022 ISTANBUL exhibition will be organized at TUYAP Expo Center during 14-18 June 2022. This exhibition is the largest event in the region which is combining all the members of Textile Machinery Industry under one roof.

The exhibition has a pause for 3 years just because of Covid-19 Pandemic situation in the world. But after 3 years, finally the sector representatives will be meeting at Tuyap Expo Center during ITM 2022 event.

ABOUT ITM EXHIBITION

ITM Exhibitions are carried out by three different companies which are Teknik Fuarcilik, Tuyap and Temsad Association. ITM events have been taking at its high level place among the world largest exhibitions. It is the biggest exhibition in Turkey and closer regions.

HOW MANY EXHIBITORS AT ITM?

There were 1.150 exhibitors from 64 countries at the previous event in 2018 inside 13 Halls. There were about 15.000 visitors from 94 different countries including Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, India, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Romania and Italy. Alongside with the exhibitor companies, there were Whole Buyer Companies from Albania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Moldavia, Tunisia, Iran, India, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Czech Republic and Russia.

COMMENTS ABOUT ITM EXHIBITIONS

It is very true and obvious that Turkey is undeniably one of the major textile markets in the world. It is not only in relation with its production volume, but also in terms of fabric quality, creativity and domestic know how.

Turkey has become one of the major markets for textile production in the western countries of the world. As long as the political and economical situation remains stable, it is strongly believed that this trend is going to keep going on for the next few decades. Turkey has become one of the most important markets in the world about textile machinery industry.

Turkey has a very long tradition in textile industry and newly production facilities. Turkey has everything it takes to be successful. With the recent evolutions on the World bazaar, the distributors have realized the danger of China as they are the solely supplier country in the world. Therefor they are returning to other textile producing countries such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and of course also Turkey.

The biggest advantage of Turkey is the geographical proximity to Europe. In this perspective it is foreseen a substantial growth for the Turkish textile industry in the close coming years.

There is another exhibition called as HIGHTEX 2022 which is carried out at the same time with ITM Exhibition at TUYAP Expo Center. HIGHTEX is an International Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Trade Exhibition.

Actually, Turkey is one of the most attractive countries in Textile industry in the world and HIGHTEX event is taking an action about the latest Nonwoven Innovations and Technical Textile Products alongside with the technological developments.

HIGHTEX Exhibition is covering the regions of Middle East and Eastern Europe together with industry professionals, exhibitors, press members and visitors. There shall be demonstrated technical textile, nonwoven raw materials, intermediate & final products and production technologies at the event during the same time period of ITM 2022.
