COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS IN TURKEY FOR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
There are some
rules for
international visitors who are
coming to Turkey from other countries.
As of
01 July 2021, there is
no visitor accepted from
Brazil,
South Africa,
Nepal and
Sri Lanka.
If you are coming the other countries, you have to have a
PCR test which can be done
72 hours before you
arrive in Turkey. If your test is positive, then you will have to be kept under
quarantine for 14 days. After
7 days if your test is
negative, then you are
allowed to enter to
Turkey.
There is no obligation to be kept under quarantine if those visitors have two doses vaccination which is approved by
World Health Organization. Or if you have already covered the
covid-19 sickness within the last 6 months, then you are allowed to enter to Turkey.
The kids under 12 years old, they are not asked to Show any vaccination doses. They are directly accepted into the country.
Information about VISA for foreigners to come to Turkey
Turkish government established an
Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application System on
17 April 2013 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. This new system allows visitors travelling to Turkey by obtaining their
e-Visas online (www.evisa.gov.tr) within approximately three minutes.
It is possible to obtain an electronic visa
“e-Visa” 7 days 24 hours at any place in the world with internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after they fill out the needed information concerning their identity, passport, travel dates, duration days in
Turkey and pay
visa fee online.
Please note that e-visa is
only valid when you travel to Turkey for the purpose of
tourism and commerce. For any other reasons, such as to work and to study, this kind of visas are given by
Turkish Embassies or Consulates in your country.

Covid-19 cases has been dramatically
decreasing in Turkey recently. It seems that after a few months,
