At ExpoTurco Stant Hiz. Ltd. Şti., we specialize in booth design and installation for trade shows and events. Our pricing is primarily based on the 3D design and material details provided by our clients. If you share a production plan during this process, those details are also considered in our quotation.
If the production plan includes materials or requests that differ from the 3D design—such as bottled water, coffee machines, snacks, or material substitutions—these will be subject to additional charges. It is important to note that any changes or additions not reflected in the original design may affect the final cost.
To avoid unexpected expenses, we recommend sharing accurate and up-to-date information with us during the initial stages. This ensures a smoother process and a more precise pricing structure.

Sending products from abroad for trade shows can lead to various customs issues. It is essential to understand the regulations and policies to avoid complications. Our company does not handle customs clearance and offers the following guidance for our clients.
Our Basic Policy: We are not authorized to clear goods through customs. If you plan to send food, beverages, furniture, decoration materials, or promotional products, you must consult a professional customs company.
Potential Customs Issues:
- Products Getting Stuck: Goods cannot enter Turkey without completing customs procedures and may get stuck.
- Penalties: Violating customs regulations can lead to fines for both the sender and receiver.
- Complicated Regulations: Customs policies vary by country and include detailed rules and tax rates.
What Should Customers Do?
- Consult a qualified customs company before shipping.
- Work with local customs firms in the country of origin.
- Do Not Ship in Our Name: We cannot accept products sent in our name or take responsibility for issues arising from this.
Adhering to customs regulations is critical when sending products from abroad. Since we lack authority in this area, clients must collaborate with authorized customs companies. We do not accept responsibility for products sent in our name.
One of our primary services is the installation and dismantling of booths for trade shows and events. However, we do not provide additional services such as product packaging or assembly/disassembly. This article explains the reasons behind this policy and offers guidance for customers with such needs.
Our Basic Policy: We do not offer services for product packaging or assembly/disassembly alongside booth installation and dismantling. Customers with these needs must raise them during the agreement phase and secure approval from our company.
Why Do We Implement This Policy?
- Time Management: Managing multiple booths at events leaves limited time for additional tasks.
- Area of Expertise: We specialize in booth installation, while product handling requires a different skill set.
- Resource Management: Additional services demand extra staff and resources, increasing overall costs.
What Should Customers Do?
- Advance Notice: Indicate these needs during the agreement phase.
- Obtain Approval: Pre-approval from our company is mandatory.
- Additional Fees: These services may involve extra charges.
While we are committed to providing excellent booth installation services, additional tasks like product packaging or assembly/disassembly require prior notification and approval. This ensures efficient collaboration and smooth operations for all parties.
Designing and setting up booths for trade shows and events requires precision and consistency. We primarily follow European standards in our measurement processes to ensure global compatibility and high-quality results.
Units of Measurement We Use:
- Millimeter (mm): For detailed and precise measurements of smaller components or intricate designs.
- Centimeter (cm): Used for smaller scaled materials and detailed measurements.
- Square Meter (m²): Used for area calculations, such as the total usable booth space.
- Meter (m): Applied to larger dimensions, including booth height and length.
- Kilometer (km): Used for logistics or transport over significant distances.
Why Do We Use European Standards?
- Global Compatibility: Internationally accepted standards that simplify collaboration with clients from abroad.
- Consistency: Metric units like mm, cm, and m ensure mathematical accuracy and easy conversions.
- Precision: Smaller scales in the metric system provide greater accuracy.
Reasons for Not Using Feet and Inches:
- Complexity: Conversions between feet and inches can lead to errors.
- Local Compatibility: The metric system aligns with common practices in Turkey and Europe.
- Customer Understanding: Metric units are widely understood, making the design and planning process simpler.
Choosing the correct unit of measurement is essential for effective booth design and set-up. By using metric units such as mm, cm, m², m, and km, we ensure compatibility, consistency, and precision for all projects, meeting both local and international standards.
When digital printing is applied to the panels used for stands at fairs and events, the natural gaps between panels and floor imperfections may become more noticeable. While some clients might perceive this as an issue, it is entirely normal.
Digital Printing and Gaps: The printing process places a smooth image or pattern onto the panels. However, gaps between panels or unevenness in the floor cannot be fully hidden, making them more visible after printing.
Why Is This Normal?
- Physical Reality: When rigid panels are placed next to each other, natural gaps form due to material properties.
- Floor Conditions: Exhibition floors are not always perfectly smooth, which can cause visible imperfections beneath the panels.
The gaps and imperfections observed after digital printing are not structural flaws but natural outcomes of the materials and construction process. Understanding this helps set realistic expectations for stand setups.
We offer two primary material options for stand setup: Laminated Boards (Laminate) and Painted Chipboard. Each material has unique advantages and disadvantages, detailed below.
Laminated Boards (Suntalam):
Advantages:
- No need for paint, allowing quicker setup.
- Unaffected by restrictions from exhibition or event organizers.
Disadvantages:
- Tiny gaps between panels may occur.
- Digital printing can make these gaps more noticeable.
Painted Chipboard:
Advantages:
- Gaps between panels are less noticeable.
- Offers a wide range of RAL color options.
Disadvantages:
- Glossy surfaces cannot be created.
- Painting takes at least 1.5 days, even for small areas, potentially disrupting schedules.
- Plaster, primer, and multi-layer painting processes are time-consuming.
- Extended setup time delays other stand tasks.
Important Warning: If painting is requested, customers must confirm with the organizer whether painting is allowed. The responsibility for obtaining permission lies with the customer.
Both options cater to different needs and conditions. While laminated boards offer a quick and practical solution, painted chipboard provides a more detailed aesthetic but requires extra time and effort.
