Service Terms and Conditions

The clauses below cover our stand design, production, delivery, installation and related services.

Price Quotation and Production Plan

Updated 3 June 2026

Our pricing is based on the 3D design and material details provided by the client. If a production plan is shared, its details are also taken into account in the quotation.

Any materials or requests that differ from the approved 3D design — such as bottled water, coffee machines, snacks or material substitutions — are subject to additional charges. Any change or addition not reflected in the original design may affect the final cost.

To avoid unexpected costs, clients are asked to provide accurate and complete information at the quotation stage.

2

Last-Minute Requests

Updated 3 June 2026

Last-minute requests are handled within the following notice periods:

  • Events within Turkey: at least 15 days advance notice.
  • Events outside Turkey: at least 1 month advance notice.

Requests received outside these periods will be accommodated where possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Where a request cannot be fulfilled for reasons beyond our control, ExpoTurco accepts no liability. Submitting requests within the stated timelines is essential for timely fulfilment.

3

Furniture Use and Condition

Updated 3 June 2026

Furniture shown in design visuals is for illustration only and may differ from the items actually supplied.

  • Condition: Rental furniture may have been used previously and can show normal signs of wear (e.g. minor scratches or marks). Electrical appliances such as refrigerators, kettles and water dispensers may also show signs of use.
  • New furniture: Brand-new items can be supplied on request for an additional fee.
  • Damage: If furniture is damaged during use, the client is responsible for the cost of replacement.

Please confirm any preference regarding furniture condition or new items in advance.

4

International Product Shipment and Customs

Updated 3 June 2026

ExpoTurco is not authorised to act as a customs broker and does not handle customs clearance. Clients shipping food, beverages, furniture, decoration materials or promotional products must work with a licensed customs company.

  • Goods may be held if customs procedures are not completed.
  • Customs violations may result in penalties for both the sender and the receiver.
  • Customs regulations and tax rates vary by country.

Products must not be shipped in ExpoTurco's name. We accept no responsibility for goods sent in our name or for any issue arising from customs.

5

Product Packaging and Assembly / Disassembly

Updated 3 June 2026

Our service covers stand installation and dismantling only. Product packaging and product assembly/disassembly are not included.

Clients requiring these services must request them during the contract stage and obtain prior written approval; such services may be subject to additional charges. Without prior approval, these tasks cannot be carried out during installation or dismantling.

6

Units of Measurement (Metric Standard)

Updated 3 June 2026

All design and production measurements use the metric system (mm, cm, m, m²), in line with European standards. This ensures consistency, precision and international compatibility.

Feet and inches are not used, as conversions increase the risk of error. All drawings and specifications are provided in metric units.

7

Digital Printing and Natural Panel Gaps

Updated 3 June 2026

When digital printing is applied to stand panels, the natural gaps between panels and minor floor unevenness may become more visible. This is normal and is not a structural defect.

  • Rigid panels placed side by side leave small natural gaps.
  • Exhibition floors are rarely perfectly level.

Such gaps and imperfections after printing are an inherent result of the materials and on-site conditions.

8

Stand Material Options: Laminate vs. Painted Chipboard

Updated 3 June 2026

We offer two main construction materials, each with its own characteristics.

Laminated board

  • No painting required and faster setup.
  • Generally not restricted by organisers.
  • Small gaps between panels may occur and can be more visible under digital printing.

Painted chipboard

  • Gaps between panels are less noticeable; a wide range of RAL colours is available.
  • Glossy finishes are not possible.
  • Painting requires at least 1.5 days (plaster, primer and multiple coats), which extends the overall setup time.

Where painting is requested, the client is responsible for confirming with the organiser that on-site painting is permitted.
