BEAUTYISTANBUL Stands Below and Above Tüyap's 24 m² Line

At BEAUTYISTANBUL 2027 (3-5 June, Tüyap), stands of 24 m² or less follow different build rules than larger ones. We compare our 18 m² and 28 m² stands from the fair, match product groups to shell scheme or raw space, and give the 2027 build-up dates.

Why the 24 m² Line Decides Your BEAUTYISTANBUL Stand

In May 2026, BEAUTYISTANBUL brought together 1,374 exhibitors from 61 countries, according to the organizer's own figures. The 8th edition runs 3-5 June 2027, 10:00-18:00, at TÜYAP Fair Center, Istanbul. If you are planning a BEAUTYISTANBUL stand for that edition, for perfume, skincare or colour cosmetics, the first question we ask is your plot size in m².

Tüyap's build rules, in force since 1 March 2026, split every booking at 24 m². At 24 m² or less, you build with modular systems. Over the line, you may build custom, but no cutting, welding or raw wood and steel processing is allowed in the hall. Finishing bans that apply to every size are explained in our post on Tüyap's 2026 rules.

Five stands, three editions, two venues, 18 m² four times and 28 m² once, for perfume, cosmetics, dermocosmetics, beauty and packaging brands. That is the evidence behind this page. BEAUTYISTANBUL is a different fair from BeautyEurasia, with a different organizer and venue.

Shell Scheme or Raw Space for Your Product Group

The organizer sells two options on its reservation page: a Standard Stand (Shell Scheme) and Raw Space (Space Only). No sizes are listed. The shell scheme is the simplest choice for a first visit; check the package contents before you book.

Here is our suggestion by product group, based on what we have built at this fair. Private label and packaging suppliers often need little more than a counter and a few samples, so a shell scheme can work for them. Perfumery and colour cosmetics brands need their own tester counters and product niches at eye level, which points to 18 m² of raw space with a modular system. Dermocosmetics, skincare and halal or natural cosmetics brands with a full range want shelving walls and partitions, and that is where 28 m² of raw space makes sense. The same Tüyap rules apply at the Eurasia Glass Fair, at the same venue.

An 18 m² Perfume or Cosmetics Stand Is Modular by Rule

For 24 m² or less, Tüyap allows no single-use particleboard and no two-storey build. In practice this means a modular system of aluminium profiles and reusable panels, as described in the post linked above.

A lot still fits in 18 m². Our perfume project from May 2026 was built around backlit tester counters, with product podiums and ambient lighting around them. Our cosmetics project of the same year, on the same footprint, used product niches, light fixtures, branding panels and joinery.

The visitor figures explain why testers matter. The 2026 figures show 13,009 international visitors from 167 countries and 655 hosted buyers from 123 countries, according to the official count. We plan the smaller footprint around testers and a small place to sit down with a hosted buyer, with storage kept small.

One field observation. Above 3.6 m, modular walls need extension parts, and the joints stay visible because no painting is allowed on site. Many exhibitors keep their walls at 3.6 m or less for that reason.

The four smaller projects below show what this looks like. Three were at the fair center, in 2025 and 2026. The 2024 project, for a cosmetics glass-packaging manufacturer, was built at Istanbul Congress Center / Lütfi Kırdar (with Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus), the 2024 venue.

28 m² of Dermocosmetics Shelving Is Produced Off Site

Over 24 m², the rules are different. Nothing is cut or processed on site, so everything is produced in our workshop and only assembled on site. Every part arrives finished.

Our 28 m² project in May 2026 was for a skincare and dermocosmetics brand. It had cosmetics shelving, partitions between zones, product lighting and a retail-style finish. Set-up started on 4 May 2026 for an opening on 7 May.

Two storeys are allowed only over the line, and the top level may cover no more than 14 m² at this size. We rarely recommend one here, because the structure and engineering needed for 14 m² of extra area upstairs is rarely worth the cost.

Partitions and a closed storage room fit here. On the smaller footprint they would take a large part of the display area.

Hall 11, Cosmaking Machinery and the 3 t/m² Floor

Hall 11 was added to expand the COSMETICS and COSMAKING sections. COSMAKING covers packaging, ingredients and machinery. This matters because the floor load is 3 t/m² in halls 11, 12, 11A and 12A, against 5 t/m² in halls 1-10. A heavy filling or packaging machine needs a check against this figure before we start drawing. All textiles must be flame-retardant, lighting is LED only, and the electrical supply needs an RCD. The source is Tüyap's technical rules (published for MAKTEK 2026 at Tüyap, hosted by ITO); confirm in the BEAUTYISTANBUL exhibitor manual before you approve the drawings.

Space-Only from 31 May, Shell Scheme from 2 June

The fair's logistics page gives the dates. The logistics deadline is 30 April 2027. Space-only build-up starts on 31 May at 14:00, equipped shell scheme booths are handed over on 2 June at 12:00, and the doors open on 3 June at 10:00.

That is under three days on site for raw space. For a modular perfume or cosmetics build this is comfortable. For a dermocosmetics shelving project it is tight, and it works only because every part is finished before the truck leaves.

Dismantling times are not yet published. Plan for the fair to close at 18:00 on 5 June.

Over half of our clients are Chinese companies, so drawings in Chinese are normal for us. Send what you have (a DWG file, a 3D model or a sketch), and we return a build drawing that follows Tüyap's rules.

We work at this fair center as a resident contractor, and our office is a short drive away, so we can react quickly during the set-up days.

Ask us early. These dates are fixed.

Where the Money Goes on a Tester Counter or a Shelving Wall

Our published price guide explains how we price per m². Here we only show what moved the cost on our own perfume, cosmetics and dermocosmetics projects at BEAUTYISTANBUL.

The number of lit product niches. On our cosmetics project, the niches and the light fixtures went together, and every extra niche means another fixture, more cable and more installation time.

Backlit elements cost more than printed panels. The tester counters on the perfume project were lit from inside, which means wiring and LED lighting inside the counters.

The length of shelving runs. On the dermocosmetics project, shelving adds cost by the metre, because every metre is joinery, product lighting and a finished surface, all produced before the fair.

Modular or joinery. A smaller build from reusable profiles and panels costs less per m² than a larger one made as joinery, and the reusable parts can travel to the next show.

Storage and graphics also add cost. A closed store takes selling area, and large-format graphics are priced by the m² of print.

Aim to finish the drawings well before the logistics cut-off at the end of April, and check the project submission date in the exhibitor manual. Send us your size and the layout plan with your position marked through Get Stand Design, and tell us if your area is over 24 m², because that number decides the build method before we start drawing.
